CUF International’s President, Philip Gray, will be speaking on the proper role of the lay Faithful in responding to the current crisis in the Catholic Church. The event, hosted by CUF’s newly chartered St. John Henry Newman Chapter, is free and open to the public. A formal meeting of the chapter will follow.
Philip completed his undergraduate studies in Theology and Mental Health/Human Services at the University of Steubenville (1987) and earned his licentiate in Canon Law from St. Paul University in Ottawa, Canada (1994). Philip has brought his personable approach from the fields of social work and counseling to the practice of Canon Law and has served as the canonist and president of the St. Joseph Foundation since 2014. Having served as CUF’s Director of Information Services before being elected Vice President of CUF in 2000, Philip was thrilled to return to the apostolate as President in 2017.
